Tucan – Mindo, Ecuador

This picture has been taken through the lens of a binocular, which explain the quite funny look of it. Bored with Quito, I decided to escape the Ecuadorian capital and spend few days in the countryside in Mindo. This tiny village is famous for birding, so I gather some courage and wake up at 5:45am a morning to check it out. Worth the effort 😉
