This is my drug! – Vilcabamba, Ecuador

This picture has been taken in the surrounding of Vilcabamba in Ecuador. This area of the country in the mountains has the perfect weather to grow my favorite addiction: coffee. It happened that I cross one of the explotation while they were harvesting it. Cofee beans goes from green to red (when they are mature). The red one can be chewed and are slightly sweet. Of course from those bean to your favorite cappucino there is still a long way to go and teh steps including drying the bean, roasting and obviously milling them
