Cancha de Bochas – Valley de la Luna, Ischigualasto national park, Argentina
This picture has been taken in the so called Valle de la Luna inside Ischigualasto national park, in north west argentina. This desert valley runs for miles and is home to many interesting things including those cancha de bochas, perfectly round rocks made from the accumulation of calcium carbonate and million of year of erosion. Ischigualasto national park is also a world famous place for paleontologist as its clay soil have kept and protected a huge amount of dinosaur fossils and footprints. An interesting place indeed…
