The Caribbean sea – Cartagena, Colombia

This picture has been taken on my first day in Cartagena. I watched the sunset over the wall of the old city of Cartagena, slowly realizing that it was the end of a big step of my journey: the full crossing of the South American continent by road. From the Beagle Canal to here that was a 9 months and some 26 500 kilometers. A long way up indeed 😉
