Kuna women – San Blas archipelago, Panama
This picture has been taken while I was sailing in the San Blas archipelago on my way from Colombia to Panama. This area of the country located on the Caribbean coast is inhabited for centuries by an indigenous tribe called Kuna. This tribe has a semi autonomy in Panama and maintain traditional way of living in the south-east part of the country. The women still wear their traditional clothing which includes colorful dress and bracelets
