Skua – Antarctica

This picture has been taken while I was in Antarctica. Skua are one of the rare species of bird that live in this great white and cold continent. They live from the fishes they fish as well as from the penguins pups that they are fond off. Another particularity of these birds are the fact they are territorial. I experienced it myself when one flu right into my face after I crossed the line he decided was the beginning of its territory. Brave animal!
