Fishing canoe – Huanchaco, Peru

This picture has been taken on the shore of Huanchaco. Those boats are used by local fishermen to go at sea. The Spaniards when they arrived to South America named them little floating horse, in reference of the position of the fishermen on this embarkation when at sea. They are made the same way for more than 2000 years and Huanchaco is one of the only place left where locals still keep the tradition alive.
