Cueca – Santiago, Chile

This picture has been taken in the restaurant El Huaso Enrique. This place is famous not only for its food but mainly for the cueca addict that come here to dance this traditional chilean dance. In a nutshell, it is a couple dance where the man has to seduce the women. In addition to moving their body on the catchy cueca music, the men and the women use a scarf to make the whole thing more sensual. Far less sophisticated than the tango, it remains an interesting south american dance
