Pink flamingos – Salar de Atacama, Chile

This picture has been taken at la Laguna Chaxa, a lagune located in the middle of the Atacama salar. This part of Atacama desert gathers all 4 species of South American flamingo that exist. They live around the salt lake as their main diet is based on algae and a sort of shrimp that only live in salty water
