Paddy fields – Shan State, Myanmar

This picture has been taken in the surrounding of Kengtung in Shan state in Myanmar. Rice is the main source of food for all the people living in this area. As such in every trek you do in this area you are crossing huge number of paddy fields usually cultivated in terrace.
